Neal grew up in Nelson township outside of Garrettsville Ohio. always fascinated with art and craftmanship his early influences include fantasy and nature. Interested early on in illustration and digital art through his highschool years. Drawing mostly upon inspiration from characters in popular fantasy he was inspired to build a forge and began rudimentary blacksmithing work out of a home made forge shortly after beginning his college years.

Neal discovered glass as an artform midway through his time at Kent state university(2013-2020) and immediately desired to form a relationship with the medium. In 2016 Neal began working and learning under Patrick and Carrie frost in Mantua Ohio while attending college for more experience with glass as a career. While attending KSU Neal recieved instruction in glassblowing, kiln casting and mold making techniques from Davin Ebanks. Currently Neal lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma and works as an instructor at Tulsa Glassblowing School.
